Introduction

Here is a notion template that I use to keep track of meetings I've had, with whom, and what organisations those people are associated with.

It's simply 3 notion databases that relate to one another.

Together, they allow me to answer questions I get like “who do you know that works at X?”, or “who do you know in Cambridge?” without having to wrack my brains every time. I can also see all the meetings I’ve had with an individual, in one place.

Add more tables as suits your needs

There could be more databases made and added as suits your needs.

For example, my personal system also includes tables for:

• “Locations”, which contains items like “Cambridge”, “Bay area”, etc. This is linked to People, then you can see everyone you know in a certain location.
• “Projects”, where I store all my project ideas and active projects. This is linked to meetings, then you can see all the meetings you’ve had about a project in one place.
• “Reading”, where you can log the papers you read and relate them to individuals and organisations . Then you can see all the papers you’re read from a person you’ve met.
